About Our AgencyAgent Lockaby is a 4th generation State Farm Agent who has been serving the community for over 15 years. A native of Kennesaw, GA, and a Jacksonville State University graduate, he became the youngest State Farm agent in the country in 2008. He values his roles as a husband and father, often even bringing their Labrador retriever, Jake, to the office. Agent Lockaby fosters team camaraderie through activities like bowling, attending Atlanta United and Braves games, and organizing group lunches. Last year, the entire team took a beach trip to Mexico for a fantastic bonding experience. Position OverviewWe’re looking for a highly organized and proactive team member to support our agency with scheduling, client service, sales support, and general office coordination. This role is flexible and is open to either full-time or part-time availability. Some benefits may not apply if hired as part-time.
Responsibilities
- Manage agent's calendar schedule and confirm appointments, block focus time, and prepare meeting packets.
- Draft meeting agendas, capture action items, and follow up on next steps.
- Handle light travel and errands as needed (pickups/returns, post office, office supplies).
- Answer phones, triage inquiries, and route to the appropriate team member.
- Return voicemails, send follow-up emails/texts, confirm receipt of documents, and set appointments.
- Send reminders, thank-you notes, and client touchpoints.
- Track sales and bonus progress, prepare a weekly scoreboard, and maintain a wins list.
- Post light updates to social media (using approved templates), collect reviews, and request testimonials.
- Assist in planning team events, such as outings and the annual holiday party (venue research, dates, budget).
- Prepare and process forms, scan/upload documents, name files properly, and maintain compliance checklists.
- Take notes during daily huddles, provide end-of-day recaps, and share next-day priorities.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation for occasional errands and office needs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities and shifting between tasks.
- Professional and reliable with a positive, team-oriented approach.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; willing to learn new systems.
Compensation $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
